Immersing audiences in a location
Argent is one of the biggest property developers in the UK. Since 2001 it has been leading the regeneration of King’s Cross – the largest mixed-use development in single ownership in central London for over 150 years. We created a publication to help the firm shout about this incredible project, to tell a story the architecture world would want to hear.
Through a partnership with The Architects’ Journal, the firm planned a substantial stand-alone publication showcasing 21 completed sites within the area. Our task was to bring these projects to life for readers, and enhance Argent’s reputation as a leader in its field.

Our solution was appropriately creative. We structured the publication as a walking tour, a concept introduced through a cover that unfolds as a map. Inside, the look was created with a sophisticated design audience in mind. Simple layouts present long-form articles while photography highlights details and immerses the reader in the location.
